As an old fart, I thought texting was absurd. Why text, when you have the phone in your hand and can just call? Leave a voice-mail if they don't pick up? Whassamatter with that? That leads me to conclude that if you think there is no need for the metaverse because IRL is better, well, you must be an old fart too.
