Aww, I did not know she passed. A shame. Anyway, be sure to read The Parable of the Sower to follow the further development of the Earthseed religion. It's actually a 2-book series. I happened to have read Sower first, and forgot about it, so I had some interesting deja vu when I read Talents!

Oh damn, I got that backwards, Sower is actually book 1. Whatever, they're great in any order.
