C'mon, guys, give Yanique a break. We should be encouraging our young writers. This article clearly isn't intended for advanced, experienced coders. I think it is a pretty good overview of the current state of Javascript. One obseration I would add is that Javascript and its ecosystem has beome hella complex compared to when I first started making things waggle on a Web page. I'm glad I'm retiring in a few years, because I find that all I would need to learn to write good full-stack applications in Javascript for the future is intimmidating -- maybe even beyond what I am smart enough to master.
