Dittos. I would love to never drive or own a car again.
I just had a funny thought about Musk's vision of privately owned vehicles offsetting their costs by operating as robo taxis when the owners weren't using them. Today, I wouldn't think of walking over to my neighbor's house and asking if I can borrow one of their shiny Teslas to run a few errands. And if I had that audacity, I would hardly expect them to say, "Sure, but gimme $40." But Musk's vision is that these same neighbors would cheerfully put their vehicle into robo taxi mode so any doofus could summon it via an app?
Hey Paul, can I borrow your Tesla? (When I visit Australia.)
