Faster than anyone anticipated? Have you seen The Jetsons? Where is my flying car? (I will settle for EVTOLs, but they are not even deployed commercially yet.) If you'd asked me anytime before the year 2000, I'd have bet dollars to donuts that a robot would at least be doing my laundry by 2020!
