First of all, if something is named "Woebot," I wouldn't look for quality therapy from it. And how often do you think therapists encounter clients with really unique problems? I'm not a therapist, but I'll bet they can pigeonhole 99% of their clients into a "type" by the end of the first session. I'd guess that it is highly susceptible to pattern analysis and AIs will get it down before long. Besides, there are lots of crappy therapists out there, too. An AI may be better than falling onto one of their couches.
