Good god, man, you are asking why the singing dog isn't doing opera. I think GPT-4 is emulating intelligence, but maybe the intelligence of a college freshman. I never meant to imply that it is a genius, or even a grad school level as you would like. I think it is an incredible achievement that has been a long time coming, and maybe LLM models can, eventually, get to the level of intelligence that you are looking for, which I never thought before.
