"...greatest alchemists of his time"??? Are there also greatest astrologers? Greatest mediums? Greatest ghost-busters? Oh wait, of course there are greatest ghost-busters, I've seem movies about them. But can you really be "great" at something that is nonsense? Full respect to all the historians mentioned here, and their work. It's just that "greatest alchemists" struck me a funny.
