Here is the page about Babcock Ranch's solar power plant: https://babcockranch.com/solar-works-babcock-ranch/ I was curious to see how they store the energy for night time. The answer is: They do not store it. When the solar array is not producing, they pull power from the grid which, it says, comes from natural gas (e.g., fossil fuel) power plants. So a step in the right direction, but not as great as it sounds at first blush. By the way, it is 20,000 homes, not 2,000,

so 35 solar panels per home. I thought that 350 panels per home sounded ridiculously high!
