(Probably shouldn’t have published that!) As to your thoughts about Medium, well, I am a paying member and I like paying for my online media, especially when it is not ad supported, or when payment eliminates the ads. Because I hate advertising. I think it is one of the things ruining our society and most certainly ruining the internet. But then, I am a high salaried, very privileged white person (as are you!) and I recognize that most people are not, and maybe paying for media is too great an impact to their budgets. Anyway that’s why I publish on Medium NOT behind the paywall, and do not try to make additional income from my non-Javascript writing. Well that was a lot of words that didn’t need to be said!
