Hi Michael. I had a friend who was in a similar situation. After some years, the money was all spent and she found herself in a bit of a pickle. A while ago I decided to reconcile myself to the fact that I would never deliberately kill myself as long as things were going pretty well for me, so I would most likely live to be 100 years old. So that is my planning horizon. But maybe long term planning is a fool's errand these days.
