Huh. I was 12 years old when it came out but this is the first I've ever heard of it. Plenty of clips available on YouTube to check out. Cute, but I don't think I'd have the patience to sit through the whole thing. Funny, you mentioned the fine opening credits song but not that it sounds exactly like a James Bond theme. I was also amused that the opening credits list the monsters as if they were actors.
