I agree Mitch! I would love to read/watch stories of a positive near-future. I love reading science fiction about a future where humanity has colonised Mars or the asteroid belt or spread throughout the universe, but whether we get through the next few decades or hundred years is where we need a vision. And I mean a vision that doesn't involve, as another Medium writer put it, "first 85% of humanity dies." Book or movie suggestions, anyone?
