I guess I'm a sad sod then. But really not so sad, because these 25 facts and the like give me reason to value and enjoy the world while we can. (Especially the ruby chocolate.) But it doesn't give me hope, because civilization is going to collapse in the next 10 to 20 years as the climate goes exponentially haywire.
