I remember seeing it, but not too much about it, except that it was not good. I recalled it being directed by Nicholson but I got that wrong, it was directed by Bob Raphelson. Rafelson and Jack share the writing credit but maybe that means that Jack wrote a piece of dreck and Bob tried to rescue it. IMDB also lists the four Monkees as uncredited writers. In other words, they clowned around and ad-libbed a bunch, I suppose.
