I respect your opinion, Professor. In fact, you are probably more correct than I. But, for my money, when I see the incredible upswell of relief and support on the left from us finally getting something new, a relatively young (relative to me and Biden), brilliant woman of color for a candidate, I just wonder if an equally bold VP selection might engender even more excitement--and votes.

As an aside, have you noticed that in these comment columns, after the first response, it seems to always become a one on one discussion, like no third parties are interested in following the thread any further. Too bad, because you and I know that we are trying to air our views to third parties as much as to each other. Oh well, their loss! LOL
