I was really happy watching Jesse Plemons in Zero Day. I've seen Plemons doing a good job in various quality shows over the years starting with Breaking Bad and including Power of the Dog and The Irishman. But he really stretched as an actor in Zero Day. He also lost a lot of weight--not that he was fat before, but slim Jesse was a new look for me. I feel like I'm watching a great actor coming into his own at last.
