I watched the Chinese version Three-Body on Amazon Prime Video for free. Looks like it is still there. It seemed to start out really slow in terms of getting to the meat of the plot, but after a while I grew to like the pacing. Then when Netflix version arrived, it seemed really rushed. In the end, I liked both versions and I think it is worthwhile to watch them both. And read the books, too, if you are a reader. A problem with the Chinese version is that the subtitles go by faster than a comfortable reading pace for me. Annoying.
