Speaking of proprietary, I’m not sure whether I should be mad at Musk for have a proprietary charging network for Teslas, or maybe there just wasn’t a clear standard when the first Teslas started being sold. They ought to migrate to standard chargers, though, for sure. They can us ours, but we cannot use theirs?
