In the new this week we heard about Prince Andrew announcing this year's Earthshot Prize winners. Each year they choose the five best climate change solutions they can find, honor them, grant them each a prize of a million pounds to continue their work, and provide other types of support for them. It made me sad. I thought about how if all of the Earshot prize winners from all the years had fantastic success and growth, it would have negligible impact on climate change. How sad, if this is the best we can do.
