It warms the cockles of my heart when I see prominent color-blind casting in movies and TV shows these days. Even if it is "historically inaccurate" as my partner argues it with me. But there was one example that was a bridge to far, perhaps, even for me. I forget the program, and I may have got it wrong, but... The character was a white adult, but when they did a flashback to her childhood, she was Black! That threw me for a loop. But, okay, why not? Flashback actors rarely look much like their flash-forward counterparts, even when they do match in race.
