It was a time for celebration in April 2021 when MS Edge switched to using the Chromium engine!!! No more IE/Edge compatibility issues! Woo-hoo! Of course, IE and the initial Edge were actually pretty good by then. My deepest sympathies to any developers that are still working under IE compatibility requirements. ;-(
