I've wondered whether these Nuraphone earbuds https://www.nuraphone.com/products/nuratrue can replace hearing aids. When you get them, they run a hearing test on you and adjust the frequency response curves to fit your hearing. They are supposed to be amazing for music, but I don't know if their "social mode" microphones run through the equalizer.
