Not a movie but a series, Forever depicts the afterlife as a monotonous, boring life in the suburbs. An Amazon Prime show starting Maya Rudolph, Fred Armisen, and Katherine Keener (one of my faves). Very funny and thoughtful. A shame it was cancelled after only a single season.
