Oh, I just like to complain without offering any solutions. Seriously, it's a really tough problem. Maybe its one of those "arms race" things where, whatever the system is, people are going to figure out how to game it, so it needs to be changed frequently. Maybe hire the Google SEO guys to figure it out!
