Oh yeah, that sounds like a situation you want to get out of. You know, this business of getting offered more money if you get yourself another job offer is annoying but all too true. It’s really what you need to do if you want to build your salary maximally over the years. In retrospect, I wish I’d done that, but I never had the nerve.
