Over the last decade or so, Windows has been getting better and Apple has been getting worse. I think Apple still has the better system (love my 1-year old 16" MacBook Pro, can't wait to see the next M1 version) but I do wish they'd get their act (back) together on quality and reliability. For example, the butterfly keyboard fiasco should NEVER have happened. We miss you, SteveJobs!
