That’s Jamie Fenton, always inventing (or keeping an eye out for) creative solutions to unusual problems! Well, they did invent elaborate robots (robot arms) so that the trash pick-up person doesn’t have to get out of the truck. So yeah, why not for deliveries? Especially if the truck itself is a driverless. I would think ground based bots would make more sense for trundling a package up to a front door, but airborne drones could hop over the house and drop the package on your landing QR-code in the back yard, for surburban dwellers. And I can see airborne drones dropping packages on the balconies of high-rise apartment buildings!
