The first thing I did when I got my all USB-C 2019 MacBook Pro was buy a handful of USB-C to USB-A and USB-A to USB-C exchange plugs. They're cheap and they do the job. The second thing I got was a MagSafe power adapter since the machine uses USB-C for power.
