This is a confusing article. Something was seen in 2014 and something in 2017. In 2017, it was the famous Oumauanmua comet. Was the 2014 object the same object? Was it a small piece that broke off the famous object? What is the evidence that something crashed into the earth? The Department of Defence memo does not say anything about hitting the earth.
