Throwing the B.S. flag on the story. The lesson is true, but not so much the story. The EMTs would have noticed that there was no nail and not put him on fentanyl. They would also probably have determined that he didn't break his leg or ankles. But then again, maybe they didn't put him on fentanyl, maybe they used that other powerful analgesic, Placebo.
