When I saw the teaser for Michael Douglas playing Ben Franklin in the recent AppleTV+ series "Franklin", I thought, "You've got to be kidding me!" But the series was actually quite good, and Douglas's portrayal was fine. The series is set in Paris where Douglas was trying to raise support for the Revolutionary War.
