Woo-hoo, a fan! I cast my bread upon the waters, and after many days, it has returned to me. Funny, I kind of caught the tail end of the popularity of late-onset transition stories, as we all turned to focus, rightly, on the trans kids and youth. (Excpet for the Kaitlyn Jenner blip of course.) Also, finally, trans people of color are starting to get more desperately needed attention, as your article is a case in point. And kudos to you. But there are still plenty of 40- 50- 60- and a few 70-something privileged white people transitioning, quietly for the most part. I’m glad my stuff is still out there to help some of them through. I’m glad it helped you! It sounds like you are doing well, and that’s very good to hear. Maybe at two years you have gotten over that tough post-op hump where we have to find our new selves and our new place in life. My life is not glamourous and popular, but it’s pretty much exactly where I want it to be. I hope you are there or getting there too.

Love,

Lannie

Nice to have a place where my writing can be ignored by millions
