Yes that’s a beautiful area, but what is their outlook for availability of water? I thought seriously about Santa Fe, having remembered a good experience there long ago, but I took a look-see trip and my god, it is so overbuilt now! Just miles and miles of ugly, ugly suberbia. Still some nice areas, of course, and the historic downtown is charming as ever, but overall I didn’t feel it was very welcoming to my tastes.
