Yikes! Thank you for the close read, Jonathan. Yes, the "anomaly" chart I show has the seasonal variation flattened out, graphing the deviation from mean. The chart you linked shows absolute temperatures, including seasonal variation. I'm not sure what date the last data point is on the anomaly chart, but the last data point shows a +1.1dC deviation from mean. Your chart shows that +1.1dC deviation on July 1. It's final data point, July 19, shows a +1.5dC deviation! Another 0.4dC in less than a month!!!!! We are DOOMED!
